6ix9ine Is Back In The Game

The last few weeks has seen 6ix9ine back on our screens the most since the LA Fitness incident subsequent release of his third studio album 'Leyenda Viva' in 2023. Since then we have seen him due to his relationship with Yailin La Más Viral and trips in and out of jail rather than his music.

However, the Young Thug snitching allegations have brought him back into action over the last few weeks. There has been a return to old ways, calling out Lil Baby, Future and 21 Savage in his first of many Instagram stories. Then he went live with Wack100, Akademiks and and Ralo where he added Lil Durk to the list of people he has called out on his new spree. Next, we got to see the long running feud with Meek Mill reignited when 6ix9ine called him out on his Instagram story for his silence on current affairs. It's been a rough year for Meek Mill after Diddy's trial. And last but not least we have the direct trolling of Young Thug. Tagging him in Instagram stories, changing his profile picture to a picture of Young Thug and generally trolling every move he makes.

This has culminated in a new song previewed in an Instagram post taking aim at Young Thug. It is the first sign of English music we have had in five months, since he published 'Poppa' and 'Hanna' to YouTube. The two songs haven't been released on all platforms to this day though. If the new song were to be published to all platforms, it would be the first English to do since 'Wassup' thirteen months ago.

Meanwhile, there have been a couple of song snippets in Spanish featuring Lenier and Bebeshito and we are finally set to see one of these with 'Habla Toro' set to be released this Friday.

Quietly amongst all this 6ix9ine has also switched labels signing with Bad Boy Music and The Superstar Brokers. It is unclear why 6ix9ine has left Kartel Music. However, with his music being leaked, 6ix9ine yet to fill contractual agreements to release a Mexican album and unable to go on the agreed tour due to being on probation, you have a list of reasons to choose from.

6ix9ine will be hoping his upcoming sentencing on the 25th September for an eight parole violation won't affect the momentum he is beginning to garner.
