A Student's Stock of The Week: NVIDIA

Disclaimer: This is a personal opinion and should not be classed as personal nor professional financial advice.

The writing inspiration has dried up recently so I thought I would return to my roots, investing. This week marked one year since I attended Lightyear's London event and it has been about 18 months since I started investing in stocks and shares. Some of my best returns include a +60% return on Trump Media and Technology in late October 2024. They say don't pull the same trick twice but I did with Trump Media and Technology, overseeing a +30% return the second time. In October, I sold my AST SpaceMobile shares at a +193% return along with my NetEase and Rigetti Computing shares at 66% and 234% respectively. I speak in percentages since the actual amounts I gain aren’t exactly large as a student.

Talking of this week's stock I have had success with NVIDIA in the past. I sold my long-held stocks back in October at a +42% return. However, I think now is a good time to reinvest again. With the shares currently trading at $170.92 per share, slightly lower than their all-time high, and a record setting third quarter revenue, it is hard to see them going anywhere anytime soon.

This marks the beginning of a new weekly series, with the following posts going up on Fridays starting from next week.
