Rest In Peace Trey Reed

Rest in peace Demartravion 'Trey' Reed. Prayers to his family. For those who don't know he was found hanging from a tree on Delta State University campus.

When I saw the headline 'A Black Student Was Found Hanging From A Tree' I assumed it was suicide. The African-American community on Instagram held a different perspective, however. A murder. A lynching. Citing the fact that the body was found with broken arms and legs, the despite the fact that the coroner's report and police investigation states otherwise.

From the sounds of it there was no cameras on that side of the campus and as of yet no witnesses have come forward to confirm they heard or witnessed the assault and then eventual murder of a man.

It is interesting to see African-Americans react so fast when they were the same group where prominent figures sympathized with Decarlos Brown Jr. The fourteen time convicted felon and now murderer of Iryna Zarutska. The same group that justified Charlie Kirk's death due to him being racist, despite the fact he believed race was a concept constructed by society. And any African-American speaking out on the matter was accused of doing it for the white views. The receipts are there.

It goes further as Camryn Giselle Booker was arrested and expelled for mocking Charlie Kirk's death and assaulting a man in the process. Charlie Kirk and Iryna Zarutska murals have also been vandalised.

Upon writing this, I discovered a second individual was found hanging from a tree in a separate location in Mississippi, which has largely gone unreported by the media. Rest in peace Cory Zutakis.

After considering this, I believe it's important to keep the previous paragraphs for authenticity. However, I withdraw my earlier belief that Trey Reed took his own life. It seems logical to start exploring possible links between the two deaths.

Rest in peace and I hope the two families can find closure as soon as possible.
